Established in 1971, the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) is the premier international certification association for firms that perform testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems in addition to building systems commissioning, sound and vibration measurement, retro-commissioning, fume hood testing and cleanroom performance certification. NEBB is proud to have over 600 certified firms with over 900 qualified supervisors world-wide.

NEBB-certification disciplines are anchored by NEBB Procedural Standards that provide guidelines for work to be performed. NEBB enhances the educational experience of each discipline (testing, adjusting and balancing, building systems commissioning, sound and vibration measurement, retro-commissioning, fume hood testing and cleanroom performance testing), by providing technical manuals, training materials, and offering seminars.

5   Link   United Association of Journeymen & Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States & Canada
The United Association seeks to assist interested, qualified persons to obtain information and identify opportunities regarding training and employment in the union pipe trades industry. Profiles submitted through this system will be forwarded to appropriate United Association Local Unions and affiliated Training Programs to be considered by those organizations.

Local Unions and Local Training Programs maintain their own, individual rules and polices regarding acceptance and exercise full control over all acceptance decisions. You will also have to submit a separate application in accordance with the requirements of the Local Union or Local Training Program to which you apply. You may also have to take a test and/or have an interview with the local organization. You are encouraged to make direct personal contact, using the contact information provided here to help determine the exact qualifications and materials neccessary to make a formal application.

The purpose of this profile and our services is to put you in contact with the Local Unions or Local Training Program that may be of most interest to you. Please be further advised that all decisions regarding the acceptance of an applicant to a Local Union or Local Training Program are made solely by the local organization in accordance with their own criteria, rules and procedures.

Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22 was formed when the three prominent locals of the United Association merged on October 1st, 1997. This local union has more than 100 years of service in the Western New York area. We are a proud union with a Western New York jurisdiction from the Canadian border to the Pennsylvania state line. Local 22 is a full-service union and supplies Journeypersons for such work as:
